Rooms, Beds and Child Arrangements
Tell us who is sharing which room, and each child’s age on the travel dates, so the proposed stays can be checked against them.
- Room and bed arrangements are requests until your quotation confirms them; connecting rooms are not assumed.
- Extra beds, cots and child meals are discussed for the proposed hotel, not taken for granted.
- Children’s ages affect the vehicle, the room and the pricing, so give the age on the day you travel.
Vehicle Seats, Luggage and Strollers
Our vehicle records list seats and luggage guidance for each vehicle, from four-seat cars up to a 27–29 seat mini bus. On a plan page, the vehicle selector only offers vehicles that can seat your group.
Child seats and stroller space are not assumed: if you need either, say so when you enquire and we will confirm what can be arranged. The Pahalgam valleys are visited by a local union vehicle, which is separate from your own vehicle.
Choosing a Pace
Fewer hotel changes mean longer in each place. The family plans above range from two to three changes. If your children travel better in short stages, ask for a night added where you want it rather than choosing the longest plan.
How Family Pricing Is Calculated
The estimates on the cards are per adult on twin sharing, for the stay category and season shown. Children are priced separately in your quotation, and we do not assume that children travel free or at a fixed discount: the quotation shows how each child in your group is priced.
Rates are indicative. Hotel names are shared in your quotation, not on this page, and the final price is confirmed in INR.
- Included on these plans: rooms on twin sharing, breakfast and dinner, a private cab for transfers and sightseeing, and airport or station pickup and drop, as in each plan’s inclusions.
- Not included: flights and train tickets, Gondola tickets, the Pahalgam union vehicle, ponies, entry tickets and lunches.

Why do you ask for my children’s ages?
The age on the travel date affects the room and bed arrangement, the vehicle and the way each child is priced. Your quotation shows the basis used for your group.
How are rooms arranged for a family?
You tell us who shares a room and the beds you need. We ask the proposed hotels and show the arrangement in the quotation. Connecting rooms are not assumed.
Which plan has the fewest hotel changes?
Kashmir Classic, Srinagar–Gulmarg–Pahalgam, Kashmir with Kids and the Sonmarg route each have two changes, and Family Kashmir and Grand Kashmir have three. The table above lists the places and changes for every plan.
Will our luggage and a stroller fit?
Tell us the number of bags and any stroller or child seat. Our vehicle records give luggage guidance for each vehicle; whether a particular item fits or can be arranged is confirmed in your quotation.
Can the days be made easier for children?
Yes, as a request: ask for fewer stops on a day or an added night. The itinerary rates the Gulmarg Gondola day as moderate and most other days as easy, and a change in nights changes the quotation.
