Altitude and Acclimatisation
Leh is above 3,500 metres and the road climbs on the way there. Ask how acclimatisation time is built into the plan, and do not shorten it to fit more in. If you have any heart, lung or other medical concern, speak to your doctor before booking; we give no medical advice.
The Road, the Stops and the Season
The overland route needs the high passes to be open, so these plans are suggested for June to September only. Road status and timings change with weather and are confirmed close to travel. A day can be lost to a closure, so keep a spare day before an onward flight.
Permits and Documents
Some areas around Leh, including Nubra and Pangong, need permits. We tell you what is needed and the documents to carry; requirements are set by the authorities and can change.
Kashmir With Ladakh or Ladakh Alone
If you only want Ladakh, our Leh plans fly in and skip the Kashmir road. Combined plans spend more days getting there but include the valley and the mountain road.
Pricing and Optional Choices
Estimates are per person on twin sharing. A longer route, a higher stay category or an added Nubra or Pangong night changes the quotation. Flights are not included. Rates are indicative, and the quotation states the final price in INR.

Questions About Combined Trips
Which months can I travel?
June to September for the overland routes, when the high passes are normally open. Road conditions are confirmed close to travel.
How is altitude handled?
We do not shorten acclimatisation time to fit more in. Speak to your doctor if you have health concerns.
Do I need permits?
Some Ladakh areas do. We list what you need and the documents to carry.
Can I fly back from Leh?
Many travellers do. Flights are not included, so tell us and we plan the last day around yours.
Can I do Ladakh only?
Yes, our Leh plans do not include the Kashmir road.
