The cost model
A package price is the sum of a few parts. Knowing which part moves with what tells you which choices matter.

Worked examples for two adults
The table lists indicative totals for two adults, in the Deluxe category, in an Off, a Shoulder and a Peak month. The “per person” line is the total divided between the two of you; it already includes your share of the vehicle, so do not add the vehicle again.

The plans differ in nights and in where you sleep. Honeymoon with Houseboat starts with a houseboat night. A plan’s name does not set the stay category: you choose that separately.

Hotel names are not given in public, and what each category contains in a given place is stated in your quote. Ask the quote to describe the room, meals and any facility you care about.
Avoid counting the same thing twice
- The vehicle is one cost for the group. For two people, the total already includes it; do not add a cab on top of a per-person figure.
- Meals at breakfast and dinner are in the plan. Add only lunches.
- Pickup and drop are in the plan. Do not add a separate transfer unless you want a different one.
- The shikara ride is in the plan where it is listed.
- Tax is inside the quoted total, so do not add GST again.
What to add on top
We do not state ticket prices or local tariffs here, because they change and we have not checked them against the operators. Use this list and ask each operator or us for the current figure.

Optional extras for a couple
Our rate card lists these as add-ons, shown here as indicative: swapping a Srinagar hotel night for a houseboat night (₹1,500 per person), a private sunset shikara (₹1,500 per boat), room decor (₹2,500 per room) and a candle-light dinner (₹3,500 per couple). They count only if your quote lists them.

Are the figures a quote?
No. They are indicative totals from our rate card. Your quote gives the final price in INR, with the tax shown.
How do you decide Off, Shoulder and Peak?
By month, as listed above. Off is March and November, Shoulder is February and July to October, and the rest is Peak.
Do the figures include a houseboat night?
Only Honeymoon with Houseboat among the plans shown starts on a houseboat. For the others, a houseboat night is a swap or an extra night.
