Who Handles Your Information
Kashmir Tour Plan is a travel-planning business run by Umar Sami Bhat (proprietor), at Namblabal, Pampore, Pulwama, Jammu & Kashmir 192121.
You can reach us by phone or WhatsApp on +91 60058 51998 between 9 am–9 pm IST, or through the contact form. Use either route for any question about this page or about your information.
Information We Collect
Through the enquiry and contact forms on this website we collect what you choose to type in:
- Your name and WhatsApp or phone number (these are needed to reply), and an email address if you give one.
- Your travel date or month, the number of adults and children, nights, hotel type, interests and arrival details (flight, train or road, station or airport, and time).
- Your message, and the package, vehicle, service or page you were asking about.
- If you use Zoya, our AI chat assistant: the messages you type, the page you were on, the language and your device type, and your name and WhatsApp number only if you choose to leave them in the chat.
- On the city-planning form, children’s ages, only if you enter them, so a quote can be prepared.
When you send a form, the website also records the page address you sent it from, any campaign tags in the link you arrived by, your device type and browser description, whether you ticked the consent box and when, and a one-way hash of your IP address used to limit spam. The IP address itself is not stored with the enquiry.
Our team also keeps its own working records about an enquiry, such as its status, notes, and the quotations prepared for you.
The website forms do not ask for passport or other identity numbers, bank or card details, passwords or one-time codes, and you should not type them into the message box. If a service you ask us to arrange needs traveller details from you later, we will ask for what that service needs at that point.
How Information Reaches Us
- Website forms. A form sends your details to our website, where they are saved as an enquiry with a reference number (KTP-ENQ-nnnn). Enquiries can be seen only by team members who are logged in to the website with the necessary permission.
- WhatsApp and phone. If you message or call us, we see your number and what you send. If you use a WhatsApp button on this website, a short form may ask for your name and number first; choosing “Skip, just open WhatsApp” opens WhatsApp without saving an enquiry on the website. WhatsApp handles messages under its own terms and privacy policy, which we do not control.
- Zoya chat. Messages typed into the Zoya chat are saved with the page you were on. If you leave your name and WhatsApp number there, the chat becomes an enquiry and a human planner replies. See Our AI Chat Assistant below.
- Email. An email address is optional on the forms. If you give one, we store it with your enquiry and may use it to contact you about that enquiry.
- Your browser. Some choices are kept on your own device, described under Cookies and Third-Party Services below.
Why We Use It
- To respond to your enquiry and contact you about it, on WhatsApp, phone or the details you gave.
- To answer your questions in the Zoya chat and to improve the service.
- To prepare quotations and plan the trip you ask about.
- To arrange the services you ask us to arrange, and to manage bookings and support.
- To keep a record of our correspondence with you.
- To protect the website from spam and abuse, using a hidden form field, a limit on how often one connection can send forms, a minimum time on the form.
The website has no newsletter or marketing sign-up, and we do not use your enquiry details to send marketing messages.
Who It Is Shared With
- Hosting and technical providers. The website and its database are run by a hosting provider on our behalf, so enquiries are stored on its servers.
- WhatsApp. Messages you send us, or we send you, on WhatsApp pass through WhatsApp.
- AI provider. To write Zoya’s replies, your chat messages are sent securely to Anthropic, the company that runs the AI service we use.
- Suppliers for confirmed arrangements. Once you ask us to arrange a service, we share what that supplier needs, such as traveller names, dates, group size, requirements and a contact for coordination, with the hotels, drivers, guides or other providers involved. A first enquiry is not sent to suppliers automatically.
- Where the law requires. We may have to disclose information if the law requires it.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not give it to advertisers or data brokers. Shared information is limited to what the purpose needs.
Our AI Chat Assistant
Zoya, the chat assistant on this website, is an AI assistant, not a person. When you use it we save your messages, the page you were on, the language and your device type, so that we can plan your trip and improve the service. Your messages are sent securely to our AI provider, Anthropic, so that it can write the replies. Please do not type card numbers, ID or passport numbers or health details into the chat; we remove obvious card and ID numbers before anything is stored.
If you choose to leave your name and WhatsApp number in the chat, we create an enquiry with a copy of the conversation and a human planner replies. Chats that do not become an enquiry are deleted automatically after 180 days.
Cookies and Third-Party Services
The website does not run analytics or advertising trackers and does not set advertising cookies. What the website uses:
- One functional cookie.
ktp_layremembers whether your screen uses the desktop or mobile layout. It lasts 30 days and is not used to identify you. - Browser storage on your device. Your device may keep: the name, number and email you last typed into a form (to fill it in next time); saved plans, comparison shortlist, trip-finder answers and currency choice; campaign tags from the link you arrived by (kept for the visit, and for up to 90 days for the first one); and, if a form could not be sent, a copy of that enquiry so it can be retried automatically a few times. This stays on your device until you clear this site’s data in your browser, apart from the enquiry you send, which comes to us.
- Maps. The home-page route map either loads satellite imagery in your browser from EOX’s map server, or plays a pre-recorded video from our own site on devices that cannot run it. The map in the package finder loads tiles from OpenStreetMap when you open it. These providers receive your IP address and browser details when tiles load.
- WhatsApp links. Buttons that open
wa.metake you to WhatsApp. - Kashmir Online Store. Pages that show its products load product images from the store’s image host and link to its website, which is run separately and has its own privacy terms.
Fonts, icons and the other images on this website are served from our own site. Because the website sets no analytics or advertising cookies, it shows no cookie-consent banner. If that changes, any consent choice will control the scripts it covers.
How Long We Keep It
- Enquiries and quotations are kept while they are needed to reply to you, plan and support a trip, and keep our business and tax records.
- Zoya chats that never became an enquiry are deleted automatically after 180 days. A chat that became an enquiry is kept with that enquiry.
You can ask us to delete or correct your details at any time (see the next section).
Security
This website is served over HTTPS. Enquiries are stored in a private area of the website, not on public pages, and are available only to team members with a login and the required permission. Your IP address is stored only as a one-way hash. The forms use spam checks, and the enquiry responses are marked so that browsers and caches do not store them.
No website or message service can be made completely secure, so please do not send passwords, card details or one-time codes to us by any route.
Your Requests and Choices
To ask to see, correct or delete the details you have given us, including a Zoya chat or an enquiry, message or call us on WhatsApp at +91 60058 51998 between 9 am–9 pm IST, or use the contact form. Say what you are asking for, and give your name, the number you used and your enquiry reference (KTP-ENQ-nnnn) if you have it, so we can find the record. We may ask you to confirm that you are the person concerned before we share or change anything.
We will deal with requests as our records and the law allow. Some information may have to be kept, for example for a confirmed booking or a legal reason, and deleting something from our website does not remove messages held in WhatsApp or information already passed to a supplier for a confirmed arrangement.
Changes to This Policy
When the way we handle information changes, we will revise this page and change the revision date shown at the top. That date changes only when the text is revised, not when the page is visited.
