Days 1 and 2 match the Katra plan: arrival and RFID yatra card registration, then the yatra day. Day 3 drives from Katra to Patnitop, with the pine forests and Sanasar meadow in the afternoon.

The departure day in our records is written as a drive from Patnitop to Srinagar for an onward journey from Srinagar. If you plan to leave from Jammu or Katra instead, tell us so the last day is planned correctly.

Planning This Trip With Children

Please share the children’s ages and your room needs. We use them to plan rooms, vehicle and pace.

• Ages: how the quotation treats a child depends on age and bed arrangement. We do not publish child rates, so ask for them in your quote.
• Rooms: say whether you need one family room, an extra bed or two rooms. Availability differs by property and is confirmed in your quotation.
• Luggage: prams, car seats and several bags can mean a larger vehicle than the passenger count suggests. Tell us the bags you will bring.
• Breaks and pace: the longer transfer days are marked in the itinerary. Ask us to add a night if you want shorter days.
• Activities: Gondola phases, pony rides and uneven walks are not suitable for every child. Say what your children can do and we plan around it.

• For Vaishno Devi, yatra registration and the RFID yatra access card are handled through the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board. Helicopter and other tickets should be booked only through its official channels.
