The Route
A Vande Bharat runs between New Delhi and Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra. A separate Vande Bharat links Srinagar with Jammu Tawi through Katra. You change at Katra, so treat the rail journey as two trains with a connection between them.
A Delhi–Srinagar Vande Bharat sleeper has been announced but is not in service, so do not plan around it. We do not publish train numbers, times or a total journey time because they change and we have not verified a combined schedule.
Travel Time and Stops
Your total time is the first train, the change at Katra including any security checks, and the second train. Add the road transfer from Srinagar station to your stay. We do not give a fixed total.

- Planned stops: any stop you agree with us, which adds time.
- Sightseeing: time at the destination, where the journey is a day trip.
