Where to Stay in Pahalgam
Pahalgam is a river valley town, and most of what you do from it happens in the surrounding valleys. The stay decision is mainly about location within the town, how many nights you give it and the kind of room you want after a day outdoors.
Our plans usually spend one or two nights here. The number matters more than the property: with a second night you get a full day for the valleys without moving on.

Location Considerations
Town centre or quieter surroundings
Staying in or near the town puts shops, food and transport close. Staying further out, nearer the river or the woods, is usually quieter. Tell us which you prefer and we propose accordingly.
Do not assume river views
A hotel in Pahalgam does not necessarily have river views, a balcony or access to the water. If you want a particular outlook, ask for it to be confirmed for the room.
The valley day
The valleys around Pahalgam are visited by a local union vehicle, paid locally, and not by your own cab. Staying central or further out does not change that, so ask us how the day is arranged.
Arrival and departure
Pahalgam is reached by road from Srinagar. If you are moving on the next day, think about the length of that drive when you choose the number of nights.

Will my room overlook the river?
We cannot say in general. A river view is a request for a specific room and is confirmed in the quote, not assumed from the town.
Should I stay in the town or further out?
Staying in the town is convenient for food and transport; staying further out is usually quieter. Tell us which matters and we propose accordingly.
How many nights should I plan?
Two nights give a full day for the valleys without moving on. One night suits a shorter route. It depends on your plan.
How are the valley visits arranged?
They use a local union vehicle, paid locally, rather than your own cab. Ask us how your day would be arranged.
