The exterior is a masterpiece of Kashmiri wood carving, with a pagoda-like roof.
Khanqah-e-Moula is one of Srinagar's oldest and most beautiful shrines, a carved and painted wooden building on the banks of the Jhelum, associated with the 14th-century Sufi saint Mir Sayyid Ali Hamadani. Its papier-mâché and woodwork are extraordinary. It's an active shrine, so dress modestly and follow local guidance on access.

Access to interior areas is restricted for some visitors, including women in parts.
It fits into a half-day old city walk with Jamia Masjid.
