Every page is a planning guide with a quote request, not a bookable fixed-price transfer. Distances appear only where we have a source; current road status is never stated.
Choose the Right Journey Type
The same two places can be connected in different ways. Say which one you want, because the time, scope and quote differ.
A direct transfer
One vehicle takes you from a pickup point to a drop-off point with no planned stops beyond short breaks. Best when you only need to arrive.
A transfer with agreed stops
The same journey with stops you choose, such as a viewpoint, a meal or an orchard. Each stop adds time, so the quote lists them.
A return sightseeing day
A day trip that starts and ends in the same place, with time at the destination. It is a different service from a one-way transfer and is quoted on its own scope.
A multi-day itinerary
A longer journey with overnight stops, such as Srinagar to Leh. It is planned night by night and is not compressed into a single transfer.
Plan Around Your Overnight Stops
Where you sleep decides most of your journeys. Our itineraries choose overnight stops first and fit the routes between them, so adding a stop can change the time needed and the cost.
Match the Vehicle to the Journey
Choose by the number of passengers and the luggage, then let us confirm that the vehicle suits the route and the season. We do not assume a vehicle is suitable for a road from its model name.

What a Route Quote Covers
A written route quote states each of these, so you can compare it with any other quote on the same basis:
- Exact pickup and drop-off points
- Date and departure time
- Vehicle
- Passengers and luggage
- Agreed stops
- One-way or return scope
- Waiting arrangements
- Applicable charges
- Any local transport changes (for example union vehicles at some places)
Questions About Planning a Route
How long does a journey take?
It depends on the route, the date, the stops you want and the road conditions on the day. We publish a distance only where we have a source, and we give a timing in your quote for your date and plan rather than a fixed figure here.
Can I add stops?
Yes. Tell us which places you would like to stop at. Each stop adds time and can change the quote, and we will say if a stop does not fit the journey.
How is luggage handled?
Luggage depends on the vehicle, because boot space differs. Tell us your approximate number and size of bags and we will suggest a vehicle that can carry them with your passengers.
What if the route changes on the day?
Roads in the hills can close or slow down because of weather or works. We follow official advisories and tell you what the change means for your plan. Any change to the scope or price is confirmed in writing.
Can I book a return trip?
You can ask for a return journey or a return day trip. A return journey is quoted for its own scope, and the reverse direction may have different timings and arrangements.
Are all routes open all year?
No. Some routes, especially to Ladakh, are seasonal and can close for part of the year. Seasonal guidance on each route page is general; confirm access for your travel date before you plan around it.
Tell Us Your Starting Point and Destination
Share your date, pickup and drop-off locations, passenger count and planned stops. We’ll help confirm the transport scope and explain the quote.
