Tour cabs from Srinagar can't drive in; you hire a Pahalgam union vehicle, usually for a full day covering Betaab, Aru and Chandanwari (approx. ₹2,500–₹3,500 per vehicle). It has easy paths, the Lidder river and fenced lawns, and is the busiest of the three valleys.
