Getting from Hyderabad to the Start of Your Plan
By air
Published airline schedules list nonstop flights between Hyderabad and Srinagar (SXR), with one airline listed. Check the days and timings for your travel dates directly with the airline, because schedules vary by season.
Srinagar airport has been working under runway-maintenance restrictions during 2026, including limited operating hours. Airline timetables can therefore differ from earlier years, so check the schedule for your own date.
By rail
No through train runs from Hyderabad to Srinagar. The rail route means reaching Jammu Tawi or Katra and then a Vande Bharat on to Srinagar.
We have not verified a direct service between Hyderabad and Jammu Tawi or Katra for your dates, so check IRCTC or NTES and compare the full journey with flying.
Your departure point
Check the departure airport on your ticket. If you connect elsewhere, share the connection so we know when you reach Srinagar.

How Much Time to Allow
Count the nights you want in Kashmir first, then add the travel days. The ground package is the nights between arrival and departure, not the whole trip from Hyderabad.
If your return flight leaves in the morning, the last day of the plan is short, so do not schedule activities that need a full day.
- Travel from Hyderabad: the journey to Kashmir and back is booked by you, before and after the plan.
- Nights in the plan: the ground package counts only the nights you sleep in Kashmir.
- Arrival and departure days: usually part-days, shaped by your tickets.
- Usable sightseeing time: whatever remains between arrival and departure, which your quote does not guarantee.
So a 4N/5D plan is not a five-day trip from Hyderabad to Hyderabad once travel is added.
