Combine two nights in Srinagar, one in Sonmarg and two in Pahalgam on a five-night Kashmir holiday. Review the overnight route and planned sightseeing, then tailor the arrangements around your dates, arrival plans and preferred pace.

The plan covers five overnight stays across six days. Day 1 and Day 6 start and end in Srinagar, so your flight or train times decide how much of them you can use. Travel to and from Kashmir is not part of the package.
You spend one night in Sonmarg and two in Pahalgam, after two nights in Srinagar. The route changes stays three times, and Day 6 returns you to Srinagar for departure.
The plan gives Sonmarg a night rather than a day trip. That changes how much of the evening and morning you are there, but not the scope of the excursions: they are listed day by day below.
Day 3 and Day 6 are drives of a few hours, and Day 4 goes from Sonmarg to Pahalgam via Srinagar, one of the longer road days. Tell us the ages and any access needs in your group and we will check them against the route before quoting.
If Gulmarg is a priority, compare the alternative five-night itinerary or ask about extending the route. This itinerary does not visit Gulmarg on any day and includes no Gondola ticket, and it is not a complete Kashmir circuit. We do not describe it as easier, quieter or cheaper than the Gulmarg option: the two differ in route, stops and optional costs, which your quotation states.

This package allocates one night to Sonmarg, on Day 3 between two nights in Srinagar and two in Pahalgam. It gives you an overnight stay there instead of a day visit, which is different from having two full sightseeing days.
Each day shows where you start, what is planned, what your package covers, what is separate, the meals listed and where you sleep. Timings depend on your arrival, conditions and the choices you make.
Your final arrangements depend on arrival and departure times, availability and local conditions. Agreed changes will be included in your quotation.
SRINAGAR · DAYS 1–2 AND DAY 6
Your arrival and the first two nights. Day 1 is the arrival day, with the 1-hour Dal Lake shikara ride that the inclusions list. Day 2 schedules the Mughal gardens (Nishat, Shalimar, Chashme Shahi) in the morning and the old city with Jamia Masjid after lunch. Garden entry tickets are not listed in the inclusions, and a guided heritage tour is not included: a local guide is an optional add-on. Day 6 ends here for your onward journey.
PAHALGAM · DAYS 4–5
Two nights, but not two full sightseeing days. Day 4 is the drive from Sonmarg and check-in, with no sightseeing scheduled. Day 5 is scheduled for Aru in the morning, Betaab after lunch and Chandanwari if access allows. Your package cab does not enter these valleys, so they use a local union vehicle, with ponies and entry tickets, paid locally and not in the package price. Day 6 is the drive back to Srinagar.

Our record for this package gives April to October as the suggested travel window. It is a planning window, not a promise of access, weather or operation on any date, and we have not borrowed months from another package.
The Z-Morh (Sonamarg) tunnel between Gagangir and Sonamarg was inaugurated on 13 January 2025 (Wikipedia, Sonamarg Tunnel (opens in a new tab)). A tunnel or road announcement does not show that every hotel or excursion in Sonmarg is operating on your dates. We confirm the property and the plan for your dates in your quotation. We do not guarantee snow, flowering, road access or fixed journey times.

This plan and the Srinagar–Gulmarg–Pahalgam plan share the same Srinagar and Pahalgam nights and differ only in the middle night: Sonmarg here, Gulmarg there. The longer plan includes both, so it adds a night and a transfer. We do not name a winner: choose by which place matters to you and how many nights you have, and compare quotations prepared on the same configuration (see how to compare Kashmir quotes).
Two nights in Srinagar (Days 1 and 2), one in Sonmarg (Day 3) and two in Pahalgam (Days 4 and 5). Day 6 is the departure day with no overnight. The two Srinagar nights come first and are consecutive.
An overnight stay. Day 3 drives from Srinagar to Sonmarg, schedules Thajiwas glacier in the afternoon by pony or on foot, and ends with the night in Sonmarg. Day 4 continues to Pahalgam, so the time you have there depends on your arrival and departure.
No. No day in the itinerary visits Gulmarg, there is no Gulmarg overnight, and no Gondola ticket is included. If Gulmarg matters to you, compare the Srinagar–Gulmarg–Pahalgam plan or ask us about a revised route.
The plan schedules Thajiwas glacier by pony or on foot and views of the Sindh river. Ponies and entry tickets are not included. No Zero Point visit, pass excursion or snow activity is part of this plan, and access and conditions are confirmed for your dates.
Your private cab covers the transfers and sightseeing listed in the plan, with driver, fuel, tolls and parking. Aru, Betaab and Chandanwari in Pahalgam need a local union vehicle because tour cabs cannot enter those valleys; that vehicle, ponies and entry tickets are paid locally. Your quote confirms anything else.
There is no houseboat in the plan. A houseboat night is only an optional change you can ask about. The inclusions list a 1-hour shikara ride on Dal Lake, scheduled on the arrival day; a longer private sunset shikara is a separate add-on.
You can ask. An extra night changes the route and the quotation and is no longer a five-night plan. Adding Gulmarg needs a revised schedule, usually with another night, and we tell you whether it is feasible before quoting. We cannot promise that another destination fits without changing the pace or duration.
Both give two nights in Srinagar and two in Pahalgam. The middle night is Sonmarg here and Gulmarg there. This plan schedules Thajiwas by pony or on foot; the Gulmarg plan schedules a Gondola day with tickets not included. Their suggested windows differ (April–October here, March–November there). We do not infer that their costs or inclusions are identical.
