Cave shrine (midpoint) · Jammu & Katra
The Garbh Joon cave is narrow; not for the claustrophobic.
Ardhkuwari is the midway shrine on the Vaishno Devi track, known for the narrow Garbh Joon cave that pilgrims crawl through. Many stop here to rest and for darshan on the way up. Queues for the cave can be long; a token system may apply. The route from here to the Bhawan can be via the older or the newer track.
