The Route
The Srinagar–Leh road crosses Zoji La, descends through Drass to Kargil, then continues through Mulbekh and Lamayuru to Leh. Our plans break it with a night in Kargil, so it is a two-day drive.
We plan it as an itinerary. We do not compress it into a single day, and we do not describe it as suitable for every vehicle or every season.
