The Route
The road leaves Srinagar for Tangmarg, the last town on the way, and then climbs through forest to Gulmarg. Tangmarg is where the road starts to rise, and in winter it is where drivers and travellers may decide how to continue.
As a one-way transfer the vehicle takes you from Srinagar to your Gulmarg stay. As a return day trip it starts and ends in Srinagar with time in Gulmarg between. Neither includes Gondola tickets.
