The Route
A Vande Bharat connects Jammu Tawi and Srinagar, calling at Katra, Reasi and Banihal. The Srinagar service was extended to start at Jammu Tawi in 2026, so from Katra you board a train that has already come from Jammu. You buy and manage the ticket yourself.
Where our plans include a station pickup, the driver meets you at Srinagar railway station as set out in the quote. A road transfer from the station to your hotel is a separate leg from the rail journey.

The train timetable is set by Indian Railways and changes, so we do not print departure times here. Railway guides advise extra time for security checks before boarding at Katra; allow for them when you plan the day.
