Helicopter seats for the Amarnath Yatra (for example Baltal–Panjtarni and Pahalgam–Panjtarni) are sold only through the shrine board's official channels. Any website, WhatsApp number or agent offering confirmed helicopter tickets otherwise is a scam risk. Panjtarni is about 6 km from the cave, so you still walk or take a pony/palki for the last stretch.

The Kashmir rail link now runs to Srinagar. Vande Bharat trains are the quickest way in from Jammu and Katra.
