The Ladakh cost model
A Ladakh trip is priced by nights and by days on the road, and a high-altitude route has long road days. Moving from Srinagar to Leh by road adds nights at Sonmarg and Kargil before you reach Leh. Flying in removes those nights, so a fly-in plan is shorter, and the flight is a separate cost.

These plans use a larger vehicle than the Kashmir plans. The standard vehicle is part of the total, and a change in group size can change it. June is Peak on our rate card and July to September are Shoulder.
Remote stops
Nubra, Pangong and Kargil are separate stops with their own stays, and they may differ from a Leh hotel. Facilities such as heating and hot water are confirmed in the quote and are not assumed. See stays in Leh and Ladakh.

Are flights included?
No. Flights to Leh, or from Leh at the end, are bought separately.
Do the totals include permits?
No. Some areas need permits, and we state no fees here. We tell you what is needed.
Is the road route dearer than flying in?
The road route has more nights and more road days, so the total is higher. It also takes longer. Compare the nights, not just the totals.
Can I go outside June to September?
Our plans run in that season. Roads and passes decide what is possible, and we do not promise access outside it.
