The Gulmarg cost model
Gulmarg has two main choices. You can visit for a day from Srinagar, which adds a vehicle day and no hotel night, or stay one or more nights, which adds rooms. The more nights you stay, the more the cost is rooms, and the more the season matters, because winter is Peak on our rate card.

Kashmir Winter Snow has two nights in Gulmarg and Gulmarg Ski Week has four. Srinagar & Gulmarg short break has one and runs all year. The totals rise with the Gulmarg nights, because the rate card prices Gulmarg rooms as the other costs for the plan stay roughly the same.

Do not assume the Gondola runs on a particular day. It depends on weather and on JKCCC, so keep your plans flexible.

Is it cheaper to visit Gulmarg for a day?
A day visit removes a hotel night but adds a vehicle day and the drive. Whether it costs less depends on your route. Use the table to compare.
Do the totals include Gondola tickets?
No. They are booked online by each traveller through JKCCC.
Why does winter cost more?
On our rate card, January and December are Peak months, so room and vehicle rates are in the Peak band. The quote shows the rate for your dates.
Is skiing included?
No. Skiing lessons and equipment are not listed in our plans.
